Description:

Today is the 2020 presidential election, and, of course, the cultural climate has been very tense lately.  In this talk, we’ll explore various ways to apply the practice to such a hot button current event.  Our focus will largely be around the brahma viharas (especially our dear friend Equanimity!), the eight worldly winds, and the more Mahayana teachings on interconnectedness.

We will also touch into the three Zen Peacekeeper tenets; more info on those here, if you’re interested in that topic.
