As a note on this last talk, and really this whole series, I should probably have translated the afflictions in more traditional terms, using greed instead of craving as a translation for lobha.
As in this last talk, the broader umbrella of tanha (aka craving), involves both the wanting to obtain (aka greed or lobha), and the wanting to eliminate (aka aversion or dosa). In practical uses, I don’t find the distinction that important, although it can help to lessen confusion in communication.
